I talked to Dad and Dana earlier and they were at the hospital with Mom. They had gotten her to sit up, but that pretty much exhausted her. She is awake but not really able to communicate much. Dad says she can't get the words out and it seems like her brain is a little clouded. She was supposed to have the EEG today, but as of our last conversation, that had not happened. I am a little frustrated with the hospital with their lack of follow through.
I am currently sitting in Las Vegas, waiting for my flight to San Diego. Southwest was not incredibly helpful with the arrangements and I ended up having to go pick up my bags in baggage claim and then go through the whole check in and security process all over again. Ironically our flight from Norfolk to Vegas was continuing on to San Diego and they couldn't find a way to put me on it which didn't make me too happy. All I want is to get there as soon as I possibly can and to kiss my Mom!
I will update more when I get there and get up to speed. Please keep those all important prayers coming!
