Sara's update pretty much covers where Mom was yesterday, so I will focus on saying a most sincere, "THANK YOU!" to all our of friends and family... The support that you have shown us is nothing short of phenomenal, truly. I find myself bowled over with encouraging messages, heartfelt emails and even supportive "pokes" from Facebook.
The other night when things seemed so bleak, I put my hands on each of my Mom's legs and willed her to feel my love, and to keep fighting. I find myself running out of ways to plead with God for her health and recovery, and occasionally I start to weep. Then I'll get a little note from one of you, and find a little a little more grace to continue on with. For that, I thank you.
